A wild one this week. We start off with rants about the snow and the weather in this part of town. Then a story of me trying to communicate with a coworker and failing miserably. Finally, we wrap up by remembering the late and great Louie Anderson and Meatloaf. I explain how Mealoaf was a very huge part of my adolescense and this leads me into a story about the time I thought I had AIDS as a child but was just entering puberty. We start out this week by briefly touching on the Caitlyn Jenner story and I give my thoughts on the whole situation. Then I take you through my journey of seeing a Psychologist. I explore the reasons for seeking therapy and how it's helped me along the way. Then I will discuss how I "broke up" with my therapist and the effect the lack of therapy has had on my well being. This is a very personal and honest podcast and I really appreciate you listening.

This is a repost of an episode from our first season, and it's one of the most important ones we've ever done. An anonymous friend joins me to talk about the struggles she encountered the night her boyfriend tried to kill himself, and the aftermath. She re-lives this evening in great detail and goes on to speak about how his life was spared and the emotional distress it caused her. This is also a beautiful and inspirational story of love and deep compassion. Don't miss this episode. If you know someone going through a tough time, making remarks, making threats to kill themselves, it's time to speak up. You can be the difference in someone's life. And here is the proof of that. Thank you for listening.

Last episode of the year! This is a vintage episode recorded back in April of this year, where Dom Yosi and Tiffany Moore from the Moore Than You Can Chew podcast join me as i recount my trip to Wrestlemania in New Jersey. We talk being a fan of wrestling, what got us into it as kids, some old school wrestling memories, and of course a minute by minute breakdown of my trip to the super bowl of professional wrestling: Wrestlemania. We keep the conversation informational, and conversational, so if you're not a wrestling fan, i think you will still enjoy it. Tiffany isn't a fan either, so she gives an non fan, and female perspective to the conversation.
We also talk about a wrestling match between drunk fans, that i captured on video in the parking lot. You can see the video at facebook.com/firesidechatpodcast. And Don't forget next week, Dom Yosi and I debut our new, as yet untitled, wrestling podcast where we do audio commentary over the 1992 Royal Rumble and talk more old school wrestling. In the second part of this vintage episode, Mike Holzshu continues his storytelling. In this episode he tells us about a huge house party he threw when his parents were out of town and he decided to have pudding wrestling with a bunch of strippers. He also talks about some of his many adventures as a young man such as working in a video store and not actually getting paid for it and the unique cast of characters he encountered there. It's the exciting conclusion to last weeks controversial Mens Roundtable. We pick up where we left off last week chatting with Joe Saxman, Ian Sharpley, Dominic Yosi, Artie Sinclair and Tiffany Moore drops in as well to give a female's perspective on everything. We talk about growing up and dealing with puberty, what songs and smells remind us of our past relationships. We also talk more about fetishes, sex and a whole bunch of other great stuff. |

In this episode, we make podcast history. I'm joined by AFC all stars Artie Sinclair, Joe Saxman, Dom Yosi, and Ian Sharpley to talk about what men REALLY think about life, love, sex and everything else. 5 men and their honest opinion on everything from poop to older women. Oh yeah, and we also do the world's first audio commentary of 2 Girls, 1 Cup. This podcast was inspired by an episode of Moore Than You Can Chew which is a podcast you should defintely check out. This episode is brutally honest and contains language and topics not for the easily offended. Be sure to check out part 2 next week! Thanks for listening!

We are back! This weeks episode is all over the place. I tell you about crazy cat women, why i think my neighbor is going to murder me and eat the meat. Then we talk about how fleeting the weekend is when you work a 9-5. We wrap up with more bitching about my other neighbors. I assure you this episode is much more exciting than this description.
