A Fireside Chat

Last show of the year!

This week I discuss why I believe Scrooge was misunderstood, a commercial brings my coworker to tears and my driving skills are vindicated.

Plus a disturbing round of Would you rather, and a listener shares a story about a song that reminds them of the time they decided to leave a toxic situation and take their life back.

We wrap up with a listener question about changing a moment in our past which leads to a song that always pulls at my heartstrings and brings me to tears.

All this and much much more.

Ongoing homework assignment: Tell me about what songs make you sad. What songs make you happy. What songs can you no longer listen to anymore for whatever reason. Is there a song that always brings you back to earth and grounds you? Is there a song that always makes you happy no matter the situation?  Is there a band or artist that you just don't get? A band or artist that you feel like you should like but don't? Tell me all about the songs that affect you in all different ways.

It's episode 3 of our wrestling podcast and I'm answering listener questions on many different topics.

Subjects include: Best version of Taker, Jericho and HHH, favorite tag teams, favorite gimmick matches,  preferred type of steel cage and much much more.

Plus as an added bonus...a real life police officer yells at me while recording!

We go back to basics this week. We'll revisit the anonymous box and assorted feedback next week but for now it's just me, a mic and my grievances.

I open with some general thoughts about this time of year and chaotic past 2 weeks of my life.

Finally we wrap up with two stories related to songs from my past.

First I recount the time I went to a music festival in Minnesota and almost had a very bad experience.

Then I tell a story of a song that reminds me of longing for a girl that I worked with and how silly the circumstances are in retrospect.

All this and much much more.

Hope you all have a very healing and peaceful holiday!

What a fun episode we have this week!

Paul McGinty and Ian Sharpley of Mcsoss return to the podcast to discuss the music that has shaped their lives.  We discuss and break down songs that make us sad, happy, angry, and everything in between.

Why does Niki Minaj make Paul so sad? What one hit wonder of the 90s did Ian do a super deep dive on? What cheesy eighties song hits me right in the feels?

The answers to all these questions and so much more!

You can find Mcsoss on all major social media platforms and everywhere you find podcasts.

This week, we continue our trek through the songs that you love and hate and everything in between.

Also this week, I try to change my opinion of this time of year by doing a good deed, I have a less than awesome time at a wrestling show and I compete in a game of gay chicken.

Also based on a listener suggestion, we begin a new regular segment on the show of Would You Rather questions every week.

Then a very honest and powerful Dead Said Truth about a listener questioning their own mind and thoughts.

All this and much much more.

Loaded show this week!

First a story of what happened immediately after uploading last week's episode when my neighbors decided to bombard me with post Thanksgiving cheer and companionship to my great dismay.

Then a ton of feedback from AFC nation regarding recent episodes and many great song selections as listeners turn in their homework assignments.

Finally, a very honest and candid Dead Said Truth about overcoming addiction and AFC nation share their addictions that range from chewing ice to sniffing underwear and everything in between.

A really fun show that you won't want to miss.
