In this weeks episode, I decided to turn the microphone on, drink a bottle of wine and vent. I tell you all about my last day at my job and why I won't miss most of those people at all. Then I vent about everything that pisses me off in daily life. Stuff like people complaining about the weather, taking their time in line, people who post spoilers without warning and so much more! Every great saga must have a final chapter and this is ours. Before we get to that, I tell you why it shouldn't matter if someone's sexual preference is different than yours, I forget how old I am, and I unfriend someone with a stupid face. Then we bid goodbye...for now to an AFC staple...Evil Dave Wansted. I tell you how he won our mental chess match this week and send Evil Dave into the darkness. This podcast is what I live for every week, and it's all because of your support. Thanks for listening, liking and sharing. Please help to spread the word and share the link anywhere and everywhere. In this Vinatage episode, we get to know Artie Sinclair a little better. You've already heard him on other episodes but let's delve into the mind of the man who calls himself the "One Man Party." This episode has all the standard AFC topics: religion, relationships, conspiracy theories and of course great stories. We talk all these things and even get into our intense fantasy football rivalry. You can hear more of Artie on other episodes of this podcast as well as "Party and Bullshit," a great podcast that you will probaly enjoy if you like what we do over here. In this episode, I tell you stories about my former drug life. I used to have a real passion for dropping acid in my childhood bedroom by myself. I tell you how i narrowly avoided killing myself and my sister, I tell you why I thought Star Wars was real, how I got lost at a concert in the privacy of my own room and much more. I don't condone the use of drugs but hopefully my stories will make you think twice about doing them and help you laugh a little bit as well. First episode of 2014! Dom Yosi (@serebrius) stopped by and we sat down and watched the classic 1992 WWF Royal Rumble and did audio commentary over it. We talk the feud between Ric Flair/Sid Justice/Hulk Hogan, we talk about the the creepiness of the bushwackers licking heads of children and we talk about some of our favorite wrestling gimmicks like Tugboat, and Repo Man. You can find this full match on Youtube, if you want to follow along, or you can just sit back and listen. Please let us know if there are matches or ppvs, you would like us to talk about! We are going to try and do an episode like this one around once a month or so. Also we need a name for this wrestling themed podcast, so send us your suggestions. Do you want to come on AFC and be a guest? Last episode of the year! This is a vintage episode recorded back in April of this year, where Dom Yosi and Tiffany Moore from the Moore Than You Can Chew podcast join me as i recount my trip to Wrestlemania in New Jersey. We talk being a fan of wrestling, what got us into it as kids, some old school wrestling memories, and of course a minute by minute breakdown of my trip to the super bowl of professional wrestling: Wrestlemania. We keep the conversation informational, and conversational, so if you're not a wrestling fan, i think you will still enjoy it. Tiffany isn't a fan either, so she gives an non fan, and female perspective to the conversation.
We also talk about a wrestling match between drunk fans, that i captured on video in the parking lot. You can see the video at facebook.com/firesidechatpodcast. And Don't forget next week, Dom Yosi and I debut our new, as yet untitled, wrestling podcast where we do audio commentary over the 1992 Royal Rumble and talk more old school wrestling. Share this podcast with the wrestling fan in your life! In the second part of this vintage episode, Mike Holzshu continues his storytelling. In this episode he tells us about a huge house party he threw when his parents were out of town and he decided to have pudding wrestling with a bunch of strippers. He also talks about some of his many adventures as a young man such as working in a video store and not actually getting paid for it and the unique cast of characters he encountered there. The man is a master storyteller, so grab a seat around the fire and forget your worries for a while.
